What we did

Freestanding oval bath and a chrome floor-mounted filler
Existing oak boards repaired rather than covered
Plaster made good and painted a warm white
A stool, not a cabinet, because the room didn’t need more furniture

We refused a feature wall. The window was already doing that job.
