Studio

A small practice. The whole job.

A designer and a fitter who got tired of the gap between the drawing and the Tuesday the tiler turned up. You meet the people who do the work.

A quiet limestone bathroom with a single basin and a tall window.

View from the Loo works, by appointment, from Clerkenwell. The clients are people with a house already finished everywhere except the bathroom — townhouses, villas, the occasional country place. The name is unserious. We don’t talk about sanctuaries.

There isn’t a showroom to wander. Pieces are in the shop, or they come to the first meeting on a board, or we meet in the room itself. Weekdays only. If the house is empty in the morning, the site visit starts then.

Fitting is London and the South East. If you’re further out, we still draw, specify and schedule — and we say so before you’ve paid for a survey you don’t need.
